Supporting Survivors + Research for SCAD & Stroke
Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD)
The heart attack no one sees coming & can hit no matter how young!
Our Founders:
Dance for the Beat, Inc. was founded in July of 2025 by Ryan and Summer Duvall. Ryan and Summer have been self-employed for 20+ years owning and operating Ballroom dance studios across four states and the entire nation. Starting in Florida and ending up in Montana, their dream destination. On October 19, 2019, Ryan suffered a SCAD in his Left Anterior Descending Artery (LAD) which resulted in a massive heart attack. The result was catastrophic. Ryan underwent Fifteen minutes of CPR and three cardiac shocks were necessary to establish a heart rhythm. This was followed by an induced 11-day coma. The next four months incorporated paralyzed vocal cords, a cordotomy, open heart surgery, and finally a stroke. Only through God's grace, family, friends, and the greater dance community of the world were we able to survive and not end up homeless. Fortunately, The Veteran's Association stepped in to cover the majority of the medical expenses, but nothing to assist with everyday living expenses. Dance for the Beat was started to help those who are living the American Dream and have to deal with such a catastrophe.
Our Mission:
At Dance for the Beat, we are dedicated to providing crucial support to victims and survivors of SCAD and stroke attacks. Through our financial aid programs, we will help cover personal and medical expenses, prioritizing self-employed victims and their families.
Our Vision:
At Dance for the Beat, we are utilizing dance for not only its healing powers, but its ability to create a community of passionate, caring, and dedicated individuals.
Through events like the Black & White Ball we come together to raise awareness and support!
In the future, we are looking to expand dance fundraising opportunities through Special Event Balls and at competitions across the world.
Together we can touch the lives of thousands!

Our community embodies hope and resilience, guiding individuals through chronic addiction, homelessness, and incarceration.
and programs.
OUR STORY:
Operation Juliet was founded by Dallas Knight, an Army combat veteran, with the mission to provide female veterans a safe space for healing, growth, and community. After facing challenges of her own – healing from her military service, Dallas recognized the need for a program specifically designed for women like her—those who served but still carry the invisible scars of war.
OUR MISSION:
Restoring resilience through community and healing.
We are dedicated to empowering female veterans through holistic healing, leadership development, and community support, ensuring they thrive in every aspect of life.
No parent should have to know what it costs to bury a child and we are here to help lighten the load of families who have suffered the loss of losing their babies under the age of one. You are not alone.

In June 2005, Senior Helping Hands, Prevention of Elder Abuse and Friends Volunteer Program merged to become Big Sky Senior Services. Our combined efforts offer comprehensive support services to help elders and developmentally disabled adults maintain their independence and quality of life by providing homemaking, case management or daily phone support.
Senior Helping Hands was started in 1977 to respond to the need for in-home services for elders in south central Montana. Today, Senior Helping Hands provides home care and homemaking services to over 100 seniors in Yellowstone, Stillwater and Carbon counties.
Prevention of Elder Abuse has pioneered innovative and comprehensive abuse prevention services since its founding in 1992. We were one of the first organization in the United States to conduct Gatekeeper training, which teaches community volunteers such as bank tellers, meter readers and mail carriers to spot and report possible elder abuse. Today, we provide information and assistance, abuse investigation, case management and financial payee services to elders and disabled adults throughout south central Montana.
Friends Volunteer Program is the only program in the Billings area that provides phone and friendly visitor support for elders. Many seniors receive either daily phone calls or weekly visits from volunteer friends. Phone buddies and friendly visitors help isolated elders live independently at home while staying connected to the community.
